The Đồng Nai Provincial People’s Committee granted investment certificates to Great Kingdom Giang Điền Co., Ltd. and Great Kingdom International Corporation Biên Hòa Co., Ltd., with a total registered investment capital of US$65 million.

Among these, the Great Kingdom Giang Điền project, located in Giang Điền Industrial Park, Trảng Bom District, was granted a new investment certificate with a total registered capital of US$50 million. Meanwhile, the Great Kingdom International Corporation Biên Hòa project, based in Biên Hòa 1 Industrial Park, received approval for an additional capital increase of US$15 million. Both projects focus on the manufacturing of export-oriented wood products.

Mr. Đinh Quốc Thái, Chairman of the Đồng Nai Provincial People’s Committee, noted that in addition to these two projects, Đồng Nai Province has attracted a total of US$476 million in foreign direct investment since the beginning of 2016.

Having invested in Đồng Nai for many years, Great Kingdom’s continued expansion through both new investments and increased capital reflects the company’s strong confidence in the province’s stable, supportive investment environment.

The Chairman of the Đồng Nai Provincial People’s Committee expressed his hope that the two projects will be implemented according to schedule, progress smoothly, and operate effectively in the coming period. He also requested that the Industrial Park Management Board, along with relevant departments and authorities, provide the strongest possible support to Great Kingdom in resolving any challenges that may arise during implementation, so that the projects can be brought into operation as soon as possible.

At the ceremony, representatives of Great Kingdom Giang Điền Company and the Đồng Nai Industrial Park Development Corporation (Sonadezi) also signed a land lease agreement for the Giang Điền Industrial Park.

A representative of Great Kingdom Giang Điền stated that the investment project in Giang Điền Industrial Park has a planned production capacity of 2.5 million products per year and is expected to commence operations in April 2018, creating approximately 4,000 employment opportunities.
