On the afternoon of July 28, a formal handover ceremony was held at the Dong Nai Industrial Park Authority to receive and deliver three ambulances donated by Great Kingdom Giang Dien Co., Ltd. to strengthen local healthcare services in the fight against COVID-19. The ambulances were allocated to medical units in Bien Hoa City, Vinh Cuu District, and Nhon Trach District.

The event was attended by Mr. Cao Tien Dung, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, together with representatives from provincial departments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, local authorities, and the leadership team of Great Kingdom Giang Dien.

In his remarks, Chairman Cao acknowledged Dong Nai’s ongoing efforts over the past two years to contain the pandemic and maintain social and economic stability. However, as the situation intensified from June 2021 onward, the province faced growing pressure to establish field hospitals and quarantine centers, while medical equipment and emergency transport resources remained limited due to the rapid increase in cases.

In response, the provincial government called upon the business community to contribute financial and logistical support. Chairman Cao expressed sincere appreciation for the solidarity shown by enterprises and benefactors during this challenging period, noting that procuring essential medical vehicles and equipment has become increasingly difficult.

He highlighted Great Kingdom’s donation of three ambulances as a meaningful and timely contribution, and extended heartfelt thanks to the company and other organizations that have stood alongside Dong Nai Province in its COVID-19 response.

A representative of Great Kingdom Giang Dien Co., Ltd. shared that the company considers itself fortunate that Dong Nai Province has remained relatively stable compared to several neighboring regions, allowing operations to continue during this challenging period. To date, Great Kingdom Giang Dien has successfully implemented the “three-on-site” model for two weeks, with more than 90% of employees voluntarily staying at the factory. Employees have gradually adapted to living and working on-site.

The company noted that one of its current challenges lies in disruptions to the supply of raw materials, as many suppliers outside the province have been forced to temporarily suspend or reduce operations due to the detection of F0 cases. In addition, ensuring adequate living conditions, providing three daily meals, and supporting the mental well-being of more than 1,500 workers has required significant effort and resources.

Despite these difficulties, Great Kingdom remains committed to maintaining stable production while continuing to care for its workforce. In response to the Dong Nai Industrial Park Authority's call, the company proudly donated three new ambulances, valued at over VND 2.3 billion, to support the provincial healthcare sector in its COVID-19 prevention and response efforts.
