Chairman Tsai Yu-Ming was born in 1971 in Ruifang Township, New Taipei City, Taiwan, and grew up in the mountain communities of Jiufen and Ruifang. His parents ran a woodworking workshop, exposing him to the furniture-making environment from an early age. While other children could play after school, he and his younger brother helped in the factory before starting their homework. These early experiences instilled in him responsibility, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the manufacturing industry. After obtaining his driver's license, he started delivering products to export factories, making the factory an integral part of his life from a young age.

Despite the challenges of his early life, Tsai continually worked hard in school. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Materials Engineering division) from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1994, and in 1996, joined the family business in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam. At that time, Vietnam’s supply chain was still nascent, with most materials imported from Taiwan. These experiences cemented his dedication to quality control and production balance, principles that remain central to his leadership today.

In 2011, inspired by cross-industry insights, he developed UV printing technology using his wealth of experience and technical knowledge. What began with a handful of products has grown into a wide-ranging application, greatly enhancing efficiency, saving energy, and benefiting the environment. This innovation established Great Kingdom as a reliable partner for international clients.

Recognizing Vietnam’s growing global position, Chairman Tsai led a pivotal expansion in 2017 by relocating and constructing a new, state-of-the-art factory in Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province, spanning over 31 hectares. Great Kingdom Giang Dien marks a new level of automation, productivity, technological advancement, supply chain dependability, and improved working conditions, reflecting his sustained commitment to progress and excellence.
