Relocation & Record-Breaking Growth
In July 2020, Great Kingdom’s relocation to Giang Dien Industrial Park marked a defining step in our journey of modernization and growth. Our new state-of-the-art facility expanded production capacity while elevating our performance in sustainability, efficiency, and innovation. That same year, we reached a record export value of USD 55 million, with over 2,500 containers shipped worldwide. These achievements reflected the continued trust of our global clients, the resilience of our supply chain, and the dedication of our team in navigating pandemic challenges and reaching new heights.
2018
Project Launch - Giang Dien Factory
As part of our long-term vision for sustainable growth, we began construction of a new factory in Giang Dien Industrial Park. Designed with advanced manufacturing technology, optimized operations, and eco-friendly practices, this modern facility strengthens our ability to serve evolving global market needs with greater efficiency, reliability, and world-class furniture solutions.
2016
Growth & Rebrand
In 2016, our production output exceeded USD 40 million, with exports surpassing 2,000 containers, further strengthening our position in global distribution. The same year, we rebranded as Great Kingdom International Co., Ltd., reflecting our broader vision and continued commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality furniture solutions.
2013
Phase 2 Expansion Completion
In 2013, we completed the second-phase expansion of our Bien Hoa facility and introduced dedicated large-scale production lines for dining tables and chairs. This strategic investment enabled us to meet growing demand for complete dining solutions while further strengthening our product portfolio. The success of these new categories also contributed to sustained annual growth of 15–20%.
2012
Phase 2 Expansion & Kotatsu Milestone
In 2012, we undertook the second major expansion of our Bien Hoa facility, growing its footprint to 63,000 m² and increasing our workforce to over 2,300 employees. That same year, we surpassed 100,000 Kotatsu units in production. This milestone reinforced our leadership in the Japanese Kotatsu market and reflected our ability to combine cultural tradition with advanced, high-capacity manufacturing.
2011
Introduction to UV Coating
In 2011, we expanded our coating facilities to accommodate rising demand, pioneering the industry’s first UV coating technology for furniture. This advancement significantly enhanced our capacity for diverse visual expression and finish versatility. Our commitment to excellence was recognized that same year by NITORI—Japan’s largest furniture retailer—who honored us as an Outstanding Supplier. Receiving this prestigious award for three consecutive years remains a testament to the deep credibility we have built through unwavering quality and continuous innovation.
2010
Entering the Kotatsu Market
This year, we significantly expanded our raw material warehousing to secure stable reserves and optimize production scheduling. Complementing this operational growth, we unveiled a new showroom designed to showcase our refined craftsmanship, design philosophy, and expanding product portfolio. A key milestone in this expansion was entering the Japanese Kotatsu market. By introducing our expertise to this traditional heated table category, we demonstrated Great Kingdom’s unique ability to harmonize advanced manufacturing with specific cultural preferences and seasonal lifestyle demands.
2009
Expansion Phase 1
We expanded our Bien Hoa facility to 45,000㎡ and grew our team to over 1,500 employees. This milestone strengthened our production capacity and broadened our product portfolio to include hanger racks, kitchen wagons, dining sets, and coffee tables. By diversifying into new categories, we advanced our global competitiveness and reinforced our position as a trusted partner in comprehensive furniture solutions.
